| The last scene was gorgeous. I love the imagery of them lying on the bed, holding hands and wishing they were capable of doing more. It was a gloriously human touch to this casefile. I can only wish that the writers of the show would pay attention to fic like this when they decide to incorporate personal touches in episodes. Author's Response: Well personal touches in the series are not always done well. Sometimes it feels like it was written by a bulldozer or something equally insensitive. I didn't want to overdo it for this fic. Subtle is what the love is anyway. /A | |||

| FANTASTIC STORY. i loved it, the last sentence was briliant : "Fingers caressed and touched, symbolizing what their bodies wanted to do, but couldn’t. " * squee *so touching & romantic. | Great chapter !! thank you for the wonderful mental image of nick standing naked except for his cowboy hat & boots. YUMMMY! excuse my ignorance but what does an enema kit have to do with preparing for a night out??????? Author's Response: Ignorance excused. Some 'bottoms' like to rinse out so to speak before going out to hook with a random top. A friend of mine loved to discuss the process at great lenght whenever he didn't find somebody to hook up with. Nick has a great body and showing it off like that was fun. My own man just stands in front of his wardrobe and asks me to dictate what he is to wear:) | |||

| God I'm such a bad bad person. I finally got this all saved and am going to start reading it. I have so many N/G fics to read, I started "Don't Fence me In" finally, and I see another chapter is done with this, but I'm so gonna start this soon, can't wait, I love a good casefile.. Author's Response: Don't feel bad. I'm constantly behind on reading, it seems that I have always 10 fics open in tabs waiting to be read. I hope that you find it an acceptable casefile. | |||

| I'm really enjoying this story. Its very alive and flows well. Your characters are very endearing, which makes for an enjoyable read despite such a dark topic.
Though I must say, Nicky's little interview there sounds like it must have been extremely awkward. "How EXACTLY will you be having sex with this man? All right, well, where EXACTLY will you be touching him? Ok, demonstration time." Hehe, sounds a little embarrassing. Author's Response: Thank you for the kind words. I am quite sure having to break down something passionate into a script would be hard for any beginners. Besides Nick caught in a moment like that looks unbelievable cute. | |||

| i am confused. if there were 2 shots, does that mean Greg got hit. and before Vartnan got shot why did Greg assume that they were going to have sex. weren't they going to go to the club & PRETEND to have sex in the hotel. sorry i must be slow cos i just do not get it. Author's Response: The plan was for Vartann and Greg to go undercover and engage in having sex. As for the number of shots being fired; the kid gets off one shot at Vartann and Catherine gets 2 shots off at the kid. I hope that cleared things up for you. I didn't mean to confuse anybody. | |||

| I finally got a chance to leave the promised review. I really like the episodic quality of this fic. It feels like the vintage eps, where there were only the faintest hints of lives outside of work. And the scene between Grissom and Greg just crackles. I'm looking forward to more. Author's Response: Vintage ep!!!! I'm so happy that it do come off as an epsiode. I wanted it to be a proper casefile with added smut. Greg has his way with Grissom, he can pretty much ask anything and also press his opinion forward when need be. And more shall come. | |||

| please continue. its a very interesting fic. I never thought Detective V was gay. Author's Response: Thank you. Vartann does have a certain gay vibe, especially in "Iced". But I could see him paired with Sara as well. I absolutely adore his character, but don't worry The Love is still strong. The fic is all written, the last chapters just need a final run through, so it should all be posted in the very near future. | |||

| I'm so completely in love with this so far. Including Vartann just made it spike, because he's my favorite detectives. He's also very obviously gay. I love how he loves that Greg knows what a twink is. Hee. Great chapter, hope you update real soon. Author's Response: Thank you. Vartann is my absolute favourite as well.
